My design philosophy is if it doesn’t make you feel something, it’s not doing its job. Successful design informs feeling, and feeling inspires action. I use color, type, and layout to forge connections, shape belief, and motivate action.

This philosophy even extends beyond my professional work. You can often find me serving meals with Food Not Bombs, seeing firsthand how feeling and connection can morph into transformative action. If I’m not volunteering, I’m somewhere with a crochet hook in hand, or at the movies, soaking up storytelling inspiration.
